Since 2010 Ufa Scientific and Technical Center has regularly organized and conducted consulting sessions and seminars on the most advanced and challenging problems in the oil industry as requested by our customers as well as for academic institutions for continuing education and upgrade of qualifications for specialists, young professionals and students

 
 

SEMINARS


In 2017-2018 the following seminars were held on the topic of Oilfield Chemistry and Technologies:
  • "Effect of superviscosity anomalies of cross-linked polymers in oil production technologies"
  • "Low salinity flooding («Smart Water»): myth or reality?"
  • "Impact of electromagnetic and acoustic fields on inverted (oil-in-water) emulsions" 
The seminars attracted a lot of attention from the scientific community

In 2018 a series of consulting sessions and workshops is scheduled covering issues related to the use of specialized software for analysis and management of oil and gas fields
Workshops on  "Well Tests Using New Processing Technologies" and "Field-Specific Water Flood Management" are planned for experts and specialists of our customers

The following seminars and workshops are planned in 2019 for specialists of operator and service companies at the venue of Ufa Scientific and Technical Center:

  • EOR/IOR technologies and conformance control
  • Chemicals for protection of oilfield equipment from damaging factors
  • Well workover. Technologies for remedial cementing and isolation. Workover operations in horizontal wells
