Employees of “UNTC” LLC took part in the public workshop "Methodological bases of application of the new classification of hydrocarbon reserves. Estimation of recoverable oil reserves and condensate within the framework of the New classification (ORF, CRF)", which took place Moscow in April 22-23, 2015 and was organized by National Association for Subsoil Use Auditing “NAEN”.
The workshop covered the following issues:
• Application of the new raw hydrocarbons classification;
• Methodological bases of creation of the new classification;
• Requirements to the structure and rules of registration of materials, submitted for examination in accordance with the new classification;
• The notion of hard-to-recover reserves in the new raw hydrocarbons classification;
• Improvement of reliability of gas fields reserves estimation according to the development data as exemplified by Russian major fields;
• Determination of recoverable oil, gas and condensate reserves at application of the new classification;
• Features of hydrocarbon reservoir engineering in the context of the new reserves classification;
• The state subsoil use policy: recent changes and development trends.
