Chief research worker of “UNTC” LLC Khatmullin I.F. participated in the 44th annual research-to-practice conference “Modern information technologies in oil and gas industry” which took place in Sevastopol on October 13-15, 2015.
Traditionally the conference was organized by the “Oil industry” magazine. This year the conference was attended by representatives of more than 20 companies developing information technologies in oil and gas industry.
The conference was thematically divided into 4 main sessions each of which included a number of reports concerning the following areas:
- Current problems of development of information technologies in national oil and gas industry under the current conditions;
- Integrated solutions for corporate information systems. Automation of industrial processes control and management. Integration of information systems;
- Mathematical modeling and information technologies in the processes of field development, hydrocarbon production and processing. Geoinformation technologies in subsurface use monitoring;
- Design and engineering.
In general, the event revealed the main development trend of IT technologies in oil and gas industry and allowed to consider different points of view on this issue.
It should also be noted that the organizers of the event – “Oil industry” publishing house celebrates its 95th anniversary in 2015. “UNTC” LLC offer congratulations to the organizing committee and wishes abundance and prosperity.
